This Privacy Policy describes how Globeco ("we", "our", or "the Company") collects, uses, and protects information when employees use the Globeco Attendance mobile application ("the App"). This App is intended exclusively for Globeco employees and is used for internal attendance tracking purposes.

1. Information We Collect

The App may collect the following types of information:

Facial recognition data – used solely to verify employee identity during check-in and check-out.
Location data – used to confirm attendance is recorded at an authorized work site.
Camera access – required to capture face images for identity verification.
Device information – basic device identifiers for security and session management.

2. How We Use the Information

All collected data is used strictly for:

Recording and managing employee attendance.
Verifying employee identity at work sites.
Generating internal HR and payroll reports.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose outside of internal HR operations.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Globeco's private servers. Access is restricted to authorized HR and system administrators only. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or disclosure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share employee data with any third parties. Data may only be disclosed if required by law or by a valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

Attendance records are retained for the duration of employment and for a period of up to 5 years afterward, in accordance with applicable labor regulations in the UAE. Facial recognition data is deleted upon termination of employment.

6. Employee Rights

Employees may request access to their personal data, request corrections, or inquire about how their data is used by contacting the HR department directly.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is intended for use by adult employees only. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through internal company channels.
